Employer Sponsored Membership

Keeping employees healthy and cared for is one way to ensure business success.  Small businesses with few or only part-time employees may be unable to provide comprehensive health insurance.  Many employers are now offering high deductible health plans which cover care in the event of a major illness, but not routine primary care.  Community supported primary care is one way to bridge that gap.

Empower Family Medicine welcomes small businesses to offer practice memberships to their employees.  Employers may pay the cost of employee memberships at the same rate of $150 enrollment and $75 per month which includes all primary care physician services except for minor office procedures and acupuncture for which there is an added charge.  Employer sponsored memberships to direct primary care do not satisfy employer requirements for provision of insurance under the Affordable Care Act. Please contact your certified public accountant for information on tax questions related to direct primary care benefits for your employees.
